The Dillingham City School District’s Parent Advisory Committee (DPAC) has one vacancy and is advertising for letters of interest from parents interested in serving the remainder of the term which ends in May 2024. Letters may be submitted in person, by mail, or by email to Robyn Chaney, DCSD Federal Programs, PO Box 170, Dillingham, AK. 99576 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Letters must be received no later than January 16, 2024.
Qualifications: A parent or guardian is eligible to serve on the advisory committee as long as he or she has a child enrolled in school who has qualified status, as defined by JOM, Indian Education, Title I-A, or Title I-C. A parent must have a child enrolled in school who is Tribally enrolled or a descendent of a Tribally enrolled member, or has 1/4 blood quantum or greater or descendent, or who is a Migratory child.
